In 1993, Brite Nites’ founder and CEO, Dean Lyons, set out with a yellow jeep and a ladder to install holiday lights for a friend. It wasn’t soon after people started to reach out and our clientele kept growing and growing! 25+ years later and we are proud to say we have branched out and plan to light up all of the US! We are currently serving over 14 states! We wouldn’t be where we are today with out our Brite Nites team!

Dean Lyons
President

About: Founded Brite Nites because someone offered him $25 to take down the Christmas lights off their house back in 1993! A family guy through and through, he loves being a grandpa. His enthusiasm for life is definitely contagious!

Hobbies: Mountain biking in the summer, skiing in the winter, and adventuring with his family.

Jaime Lyons
VP Business Operations

About: Fun fact, Jaime is the President’s oldest daughter and has been with the team since 2013. She is responsible for creating processes to better the customer experience and flow of business tasks. She enjoys being creative and bringing new technology and ideas to the company. When she’s not working she’s spending time traveling with her wife on the weekends.

Hobbies: Organizing, paddleboarding, exercising, reading, and being outside!

Olivia Christensen

CFO

About:  Olivia has been working in public accounting and financial consulting for over 20 years. She takes pride in her work and enjoys breaking things to make them better. When she is not at work, she spends time with her family, probably forcing them to leave the house.  Together they enjoy hiking, RZR riding, or just spending a lazy day at the lake.

Hobbies: Travel, Utah football, hanging out with friends and finding new and interesting foods.

Jeremy Carpenter
VP Sales

About: Jeremy has founded multiple successful companies and loves being involved in the world of business. He has a passion for providing as much value to the consumer as possible and thrives in managing our salesforce nationwide.

Hobbies: Traveling, visiting national parks, parkour, and being a father.

Chelsea Young
Office Manager

About: Chelsea joined Brite Nites in 2017 and clients love communicating with her! She works hard to make sure every client interaction is transparent and perfect. She is a social butterfly, appreciates music of all types, and is an animal lover.

Hobbies: Camping, kayaking, watching football (go Steelers!), gardening, decorating and traveling.

Erwin Acabal
Operations Manager

About: Erwin has been doing Christmas lighting for over 15 years! He is a man of many talents and knows a lot about homes and projects so he can troubleshoot any job. He is always looking for ways to improve himself and face challenges. He loves spending time with his family.

Hobbies: Photography, mountain biking, snowboarding, and spending time with his wife and 2 daughters.

Zach Bray
Director of logistics

About: Zach earned his Bachelor of Science, and then an MBA in 2019. His work history includes sales, operations, logistics, and risk management. He is a lover of the outdoors and his animals (dog Charley and cat Ducky).

Hobbies: Fitness, history, and reading; his favorite book is ” The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius”.

Tiffany Nascimento
Admin Assistant

About: Tiffany loves working with people talking with people on the phone. If you get the opportunity to speak with her she will bring a smile to your face. Tiffany is an awesome team player and does what it takes to make everything come together in the office. Most likely because she’s a team player as she loves sports! In the summer she enjoys playing tennis any chance she gets.

Hobbies: Spending time with friends and family, and playing sports.

Kerri Bauer
Data Specialist

About: Kerri joined our team in 2017 and has over 15 years of experience providing high-quality data entry and administrative support from her home. Aside from work, Kerri is a loving mother of two beautiful children and a devoted wife to her husband of over 20 years.

Hobbies: Enjoys being with family and friends, most summer outdoor activities, nature photography, gardening, and volunteering.

Ezra Lopez
Hiring Manager

About: Ezra joined our team in January 2021 and quickly mastered the hiring role at Brite Nites. We look to hire the perfect employees all year long and Ezra takes them through a rigorous hiring process. He is amazing at what he does and brings so much organized professionalism to our team. When he isn’t working at Brite Nites he is running his Hibachi business called Shifuku, which is a fun high-end dinner experience to homes throughout Utah with his wife as his business partner.

Hobbies: Hibachi and one-wheeling everywhere he can.

Mary Blanco
Admin Assistant

About: Mary comes from a hospitality management background and knows what it takes to make sure a client feels completely taken care of. Mary moved from Florida to Wyoming to Utah and she currently loves being in SLC! It’s pretty cool that Mary speaks fluent Spanish!

Hobbies: Obsessing over her indoor plants and listening to too many mycology and true crime podcasts.

Karli Brand
Executive Assistant

About: Karli has a degree in Graphic Design and has been working in the marketing field for the last four years. Karli is the President’s middle daughter and the company started the year she was born, so Brite Nites has been around her entire life! Karli loves Christmas and getting to know other people.

Hobbies: Making smoothie bowls, juicing, traveling, and watching Netflix with her husband.
