Merry Christmas in October
Do you hate it when this happens?
Don’t worry: you’re not alone. We may be a Christmas lighting company, but we are a company filled with individuals who have a very strong opinion on what they consider an acceptable time to start celebrating the Christmas season. We took a poll around the office to get you some official and real time statistics:
It seems that most people are comfortable to celebrate Christmas as soon as Thanksgiving is finished. Simple as that, right? Not quite. We’ve all seen the decorations hitting the store shelves before Thanksgiving, but now it seems that Christmas Creep is occurring even sooner this year. With a few weeks still left before Halloween this, consumers have started to notice elves, ornaments, and trees side by side with Halloween pumpkins, skeletons, and witches. Some people are upset by it, while others claim this is necessary to prepare for the busiest season of the year.
You may be wondering how we handle such a wide variety of customers. Here at Brite Nites we are prepared for you, no matter what side you choose to take. To avoid an impossible rush of customers who want their lights up the week of Thanksgiving, we are installing the majority of lights in October…but we promise not to plug them in until you’re prepared. Whether you want your lights plugged in today, or the day after Thanksgiving, we are happy to accommodate. We want you to enjoy the holiday season whenever you think it should begin.
So don’t worry about pulling out that tangled box of lights and climbing up an icy ladder because you do not believe in decorating before Turkey Day. Let us do all the hard work while you sit back with a mug of hot cocoa and watch your lights turn on just in time for your holiday season to begin.
